Anybody Want A Pitcher?

Pierre Deal Is Bizzarre

Like I posted yesterday, we expected to trade Juan Pierre. Hopes were high, especially with the chance of getting the likes of Robinson Cano or Felix Pie. Instead, we again receive more minor league pitchers… Three of them in fact. This is insane. I mean, how many not quite ready yet pitchers do we need? If we had to trade to the Cubs, it should have at least been worth it.

I feel ill.

Well…some might be flipped in another trade. But basically, it looks like the Marlins are busting themselves down to the AAA level. (I wonder if Dontrelle is cringing, at the possibility of being alone as a name player.)

The steepness of this “market correction” suggests, at least from where I sit, 3,000 miles away, that it may not even matter to the front office if fans don’t show up next year.
