I Have Issues
But in other news, last nights game was amazing. Well, the first three innings and the last to be exact because that’s all I was able to catch. But it was enough for me as yet another World Series hero emerges in Scott Podsednik. I must admit, I am pulling for the Astros but I won’t be upset if the ChiSox win. Either way, it was one of those moments when you get goose bumps and look around for the highlights on the net to see it over and over.
It’s not like the Astros are playing horrible….this has been a great series so far. I most definetly don’t want to see a sweep and don’t think it will happen. At least the weather will be very domey down in Houston and we won’t have any rainouts.
Which brings me to another point….why aren’t all new stadiums built with retractable roofs? I mean, you get the sun when it’s sunny, and when it rains, you don’t get wet or stuck waiting around for it to hopefully stop. Now, I have never been to one of these stadiums, but from what I’ve seen on tv and such is that they are quite traditional, yet very modern. Do we get the same feel as an open air stadium….I’m not sure, someone will have to let me know until I get to one. One thing is for certain, the Florida Marlins need a new stadium with a retractable roof.
But that’s another issue.
