So, I’m The Tastiest

And Proud Of It!

You know, when I first decided to start a blog here I wasn’t sure how it would go. I was just happy that I was able to get the "marlins.mlblogs.com" name! Well, after a full season of blogging it seems to be a success. Throughout the first part of the season, I was writing almost daily but in the second half I kind of slacked off. Mind you, I continued to watch the Marlins and listen to them with my subscription to MLB All Access. Trust me people, when you are a displaced fan…MLB.tv is like a gift from above.

The Award

So, I have the won the "Tastiest Blog" Award from the First Annual Bloggies. Even though I’m not sure what that means, I’m honored to be a part of this and to receive it. I’m glad that my blogs have been entertaining enough for people to take notice and enjoy it. I’d like to thank the folks that chose me to receive the award and those of you that came over to read what was on my mind. There are so many people all over the world that have blogs about many different subjects. But to have a forum like MLBlogs to post thoughts and ramblings, the potential audience that is there to view and comment on your posts is a wonderful thing. Yeah, it’s nice to just type away your thoughts on a certain subject, but if no one is reading them, it kind of takes away from the passion you put into it.

I never would have thought I would actually be blogging about anything….but since I decided to I’m glad I picked the one thing I know and love.

I look forward to writing more on the Fish and other subjects in the off season. It’s going to be a busy one for the Marlins so I’m sure I’ll have plenty to write about. I’d like to think that many of you MLBloggers will continue to post as well. I know that I enjoy reading a fellow fan’s thoughts about their teams and will continue to do so.

Thanks.

Let’s Go Fish in 2006!

I just wandered upon your blog and I am really excited that someone has got a Fish blog up.

The one thing that I really wanted to comment on was your reference to MLB.tv. I am a “displaced” fan, as I am from Virginia, so the only time that I ever got to see the fish play was when they played the Braves and TBS aired the games. MLB.tv has literally been a gift from above and I have become so much more of a fan because of it.

Even though I am just getting into this Marlins blog, I will definitely be looking around and I’m sure that I will love it. Keep it up!
