Fish Hot In Playoff Push
After an amazing comback last night against the Phillies, the Marlins have kept themselves in the thick of the wildcard hunt and are keeping pace with the Astros win for win. This is where the Marlins needed to be last year, but instead folded down the stretch. Paul LoDuca, injured hamstring and all came up huge last night pinch hitting and knocking in two runs giving the Fish the lead and the win. Todd Jones earned his 36th save, solidifying in my opinion the NL Comeback Player of the Year.
I love baseball.
I’ll be heading to Philly tomarrow to watch the Braves play the Phillies. I shudder that I must root for one team here, but I’ll be going for the Braves as the Marlins have a much better chance at the wildcard and Philly is right there. I’ll post pics and write about the action when I get back.
